Book of Life and Salvation

The Book of Lifeelaborates on eternal salvation or the concept of eternal life. A person is believed to be forgiven for all the sins in the past, (receives salvation) when his/her name is recorded in the Book of Life. However, there is uncertainty about whether the name once written, can be erased.

Where there are references to eternal salvation in Revelation 3:5, it is stated that - “I will never blot out his name from the book of life.”

It is also stated in Exodus 32:33 that whoever has sinned against the Almighty - “I will blot out of my book.” It is clear that the Book of Life reveals the subtle nuances that are hidden in the actual words.
