And the logic is that it is better to wear the ring on the left hand ring finger as this is the finger on our hands which is the least used. Therefore, wearing the wedding ring on that finger means that the ring would be much safer there. There is less chance of the ring or the precious stone in it getting damaged. Thus most people prefer to wear their wedding ring on the fourth finger of the left hand.
