Strip Clubs Always Have Rules

Many patrons go to bars to see nude dancers for the idea that there are no rules. However, both strippers and the venues they work in have rules, both written and unwritten, that should always be followed.

A strip club is a unique place whose personality is almost entirely determined by its location.

While the premise for any topless bar always remains the same - men and women baring all for paying clients - there are certain laws and ordinances handed down by local, state and federal governments that determine what can and can't go on in these establishments.

In some countries around the world, the exchange of money for sexual gratification, or anything resembling it, can be considered legal by some stretches of the imagination - or is at least viewed to be. In the United States of America, exchanging sex for money in a strip club is never legal, but what is allowed various greatly from state to state and even from city to city.

In some places, a strip club is permitted to allow their strippers to dance completely naked while in other locales they are only allowed to remove their shirts. In other various locations, dancers are allowed to touch clients during "private" dances, while in other places no contact is permitted. Still in other cities, drinking isn't even permitted in a club of this nature, while in most places it is now only allowed, it is wholeheartedly encouraged.

Beyond these "official" rules, there are several more "unwritten" ones that those who work at these establishments all over the world will tell you should always be followed.

The number one most important rule of any club is that time is money. Strippers may be friendly to you, but know that they are not doing so to try and be your friend. Dancing is their job and if they aren't going to make a living from you they are going to move on to someone else.

Secondly, don't think that because of the attention you're getting, you're going to end up with a date. Exotic dancers rarely go out with customers and even less frequently mean what they say when they pretend to be nice to you. Remember, again, that it's all about the money.

Perhaps even more importantly, be nice and respectful. If you're not interested in a dancer's attention, you can make this clear without being rude about it. Likewise, if you enjoy the company of another, talk to her like she's a person and make conversation - you'll be surprised how much further your money goes when it's accompanied by kindness.

Nonetheless, when it comes to strip clubs your approach should be very simple. Even with all of these statutes in mind, there is one simple edict that should always be adhered to at all times, and that is to follow the rules. Every dancer, club, city, state and country has them and if you don't know them, all you have to do is ask. Beyond that, the easiest way to ruin your time is to disobey them, so just make sure you don't and you'll be fine.
