Thumbprint Scanner Can Be Our Standard For Living

The endless use of a Biometric Scanner, not just for passport and visa purposes but all other aspects needed to live, survive and thrive.

There are a lot of biometric devices these days but the most popular among all these is the thumbprint scanner. It works on the principle behind the biometric system wherein it uses sensors to capture images. In this case, a unique pattern of capillaries just underneath the skin. This can only be seen when blood is running through them. So if a criminal cuts off your finger and uses it on a the scanner, the device will not be able to recognize as the patterns disappear as soon as the blood is cut off. Therefore, the finger or the thumbprint can no longer be used for identification.

These scanners are becoming the standards for companies, as it gives accurate information on the timing in and out of the employees. This type of scanner are already being used by embassies for the visas and passport and different airlines all over the globe, as it authenticates, verifies and identifies the person. Inch by inch it is working it's way into our lives.

There are also a lot of possibilities for the thumbprint scanners. If only, people will keep an open mind about it. First, it can be used to vote. There is no longer a need to bring the voter's id or another kind of government ID for identification of the voter. One just has to press on the device and it will instantly recognize who you are. So inaccurate voting will no longer be a problem as it minimizes flying voters, fraud and hackers. This can also be used to pay bills or groceries, just like a regular atm card or a credit card. So instead of swiping your card at a pos machine. All you need is to punch in your thumb and it instantly records the amount that you have bought and charges it to the card company or debits it into your account.
