Like us humans, animals also eat, drink, and sleep. They can also feel lonely, frustrated, angry, happy, and sad. Like us humans, animals also bleed, so abusing them can also hurt them when we as humans are abused.

This is why animal abuse charities have been created to protect animals from being mistreated or abused by their human owners.

There are a lot of animal abuse charities in the world that devotes themselves on the protection of animals worldwide. And among the largest animal abuse charities are the HSUS or the Humane Society of the United States.

Humane Society of the United States or the HSUS is among the many animal abuse charities in the world that provides many forms of assistance to local animal shelters, operates a number of direct animal care programs, and is a leader in promoting best practices for local animal shelters throughout the country.

The ASPCA or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is also among the many animal abuse charities that provides effective means for the prevention of cruelty to animals throughout the United States.

There are also other animal abuse charities that provide this kind of services. Though not as known as the animal abuse charities mentioned above, but they are still recognized for their efforts in preventing harm to come upon all animals. These includes the ALDF or the Animal Legal Defense Fund animal abuse charities, the API or the Animal Protection Institute animal abuse charities, the AWI or the Animal Welfare Institute animal abuse charities.

These are only some of the animal abuse charities that exists throughout the world, protecting their rights not as an animal, but as a living being and a part of these world.
