Horses are grazers by nature and therefore when they are in the stable it is useful to give them some way of being able to graze. There are many products which are helpful for the same purpose. Most stables have nets which are hung up and filled with hay. They allow the horse to nibble the hay all the day.

One of the biggest problems associated with leaving a horse in a stable is boredom, which, in turn can lead to all sort of problems. To prevent this happening, purchase a variety of toys and leave them in the stable so the horse has something to do when you are not there.
