Black Halo Celebrity Watch: Brandy

When the best-selling female artists in American music history, having sold over 8.5 million copies of her five studio albums in the United States and over 30 million records worldwide shows up in a Black Halo dress, people take notice. Brandy showed in a stunning Black Halo Ariel Mini last night for Ray J's YRB Magazine Cover & 30th Birthday Celebration. The Ariel Mini in black or white is an elegant dress that will shine at a night on the town, or even a celebrity bash.

Ray J the singer, songwriter, record producer and actor who is also Brandy’s little brother and former boyfriend of Kim Kardashian had a massive bash to celebrate his 30th birthday and YRB magazine cover. It has been a busy year for Ray J with his new album Raydiation 2 dropping in early 2011, Ray J is now more focused on music, and putting the acting gig in the back seat.

YRB Magazine (the YRB standing for Yellow Rat Bastard) is the brainchild of Henry Ishay. The flagship store located in New York City specializes in “Hip-hop-alternative-style clothing and shoes.” The store has become a tourist attraction and counter–culture, skater, thrasher shopping mecca.

Brandy who in 1999, Billboard ranked Norwood among the top 20 of the top pop artists of the 1990’s is now doing a VH1 show with her brother Ray J called “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business” which premiered its second season December 5th, 2010. Brandy who has been collaborating with Timbaland will begin work on her sixth solo studio album which Timbaland revealed was going to embrace her new rap alter-ego, as well as her singing.

Since its launch in 2002, Black Halo has expanded from its Los Angeles roots to become an internationally renowned brand. The collection debuted at Harvey Nichols in London in 2008, and can now be found in a number of specialty boutiques throughout the UK and USA.
