If you do not have an official company blog, then now would be a good time to start one.  Update it on a regular basis and share the content on social media networks to bring in fresh visitors.

Plenty of businesses only exist online.  However, if you have a traditional brick-and-mortar store, then you should consider joining location-based social sites such as Foursquare and Facebook Places.  You want your business to show up on the map if local customers are trying to find you.

Do not underestimate the power of social media in today's world.  Using it can be quite helpful for your business.  Join as many social media sites as your staff can handle and start taking advantage of its power today.
