2 Simple Techniques To Improve Personal Time Management

Still having trouble with personal time management? Try these two simple techniques.

I would bet this isn’t the first article you are reading on personal time management? For me, I used to read about personal time management techniques, enthusiastically implement the suggestions, eventually lose interest, and then fall back into poor personal time management habits.

Has this ever happened to you?   Fortunately, I became tired of my personal time management inconsistency. I already knew that personal time management was critical to my success and I realized that I needed a new approach that didn’t require me to manage every minute of my time.   As an extremely busy person, I decided to take advantage of efficient productivity techniques that successful companies use to increase productivity.

Multi-million dollar company ideas benefit your personal time management

Did you know that the most successful, profitable companies understand how long it takes to complete production tasks? These companies also continuously seek best practices to maximize the time needed for those tasks.

What does this have to do with you and your need to improve your personal time management? Everything. You, too, can adapt proven productivity effectiveness techniques used by multi-million dollar companies by simply doing two things:

1. Know how long it takes you to complete your daily tasks

2. Determine best practices when completing those tasks

Powerful personal time management knowledge used for simple every day tasks

Personally, I hate folding laundry. Prior to using this personal time management technique, I’d spend approximately half an hour to one hour folding one basket of laundry. One day, I decided to determine my best laundry folding methods and timed myself. That’s when I realized I could fold one basket of laundry in less than 12 minutes. All I needed to do was eliminate the distractions of television and talking on the phone while completing this task.

Now - because I know how long it really takes to fold laundry, I don’t dread it as much. As a matter of fact, I use 15 minutes of free time in the mornings to fold a basket of laundry before going about my day.   The most powerful part of this personal time management strategy is that you don’t have to account for every minute of your time each day. You will not feel as though you are putting extra pressure on yourself. You see, by understanding how long it really takes you to complete tasks will naturally help you to use your time better.

Personal Time Management Strategy to build long-term time management success

Additionally, this personal time management technique is a wonderful strategy for those of you trying to find time to build an online business or figure out where you’re going to find the extra time needed to get more things done.

This great strategy allows me to effectively juggle many priorities. It’s even spilled over into my ability to plan and accomplish goals. Better yet, this small personal time management technique is a great way to establish long-term personal time management effectiveness.

RememberArticle Search, it’s your small everyday efforts that will help you develop the personal time management skills that rule your results. You can start one task at a time and celebrate each personal time management success as you go along. All you need to do is to implement these two simple personal time management techniques.
