In many countries lack of basic education and lack of any sexual education become the hindrance to solve this serious issue. Sex problems are very common for men and women both and it is absolutely necessary to identify them and have proper treatment to lead normal life. Being a very sensitive issue, it becomes very difficult for the women to discuss it and find the solution immediately.

The various types of sexual problems identified in women are-
  • No desire for sex – In this problem women do not have desire for sex or have less desire for sex. There are various factors which could cause this problems in women such as hormonal change in the women, some medical treatment such as chemotherapy or radiation, depression, excessive stress, tiredness due to overwork as women have to handle the household work, career and the upbringing of kids.
  • Not feeling aroused- The vaginal lubrication does not happen properly if the female does not feel aroused during the sexual activity and the sexual intercourse does not remain joyful. The reasons are different such as anxiety or lack of stimulation will fail to arouse the female. There might be a problem of blood flow to the vaginal or clitoris area in female which could probably cause the inability to arouse.
  • Lack of orgasm-One of the most common sexual problems in women is that they do not experience the sexual orgasm or sexual climax. There can be different reasons for it. Any past sexual trauma, any kind of guilt, anxiety, lack of sexual knowledge, inhibition in sex, lack of experience etc could cause this problem.
Apart from the above sexual problems in women, many women experience painful intercourse and the reasons are many.  There could be a cyst, any wound due to any surgery or the person could be suffering from sexually transmitted disease. The other reasons could be trauma caused by any past incident or sexual abuse. Many women who suffer form the phobia of penetration could also experience this sexual problem.
