George III of England died a long time ago,The Day of the Gun is over---Gun Control Articles and the right to bear arms stemmed from a long-ago threat that we no longer face! Hunting rifles {and target practice} are fine for kill & eat outdoorsmen [unlike fishing, you can't catch/kill & release], but in our cities, guns are only used on each other, with bystanders & children often the innocent victims! Imagined "fantasy-threats" are not a reason for deadly weapons; if any national crisis developes against the individual citizen, even from our own government, enough firepower would materialize overnight to challenge it. The avoidance of tragedy takes more brains than bullets!
