February is the month that has been long awaited by all Italians who are Rugby lovers,Italy France Six Nations 2013, the match February 3rd in Rome Articles as in a few weeks time there will be the European most important tournament, that is RBS 6 Nations 2013, in which every year the six best Rugby National Teams fight for the RBS title.

Italy, France, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England will play the 2013 edition of the tournament, which officially will begin February 2nd with the matches Wales- Ireland at Cardiff Millennium Stadium and England- Scotland at London Twickenham Stadium. Italian rugby supporters are waiting for the third match: the match Italy- France which will take place February 3rd at the Olympic Stadium in Rome, at 4:00 pm.

As Cariparma Test Match between Italy and New Zealand confirmed in November, Rugby is a sport that in Italy, Country in which the most common and followed sport is football, is raising increasing interest. Undoubtedly this is due also to some national-team representative players, as the brothers Mauro and Mirco Bergamasco- who have become also media characters and have contributed to the diffusion of rugby in Italy, but probably what people appreciate the most is the sport philosophy and its rules. According to recent data indeed, for the three matches at the Stadio Olimpico there have been sold already 130.000 tickets, so there could probably be a sold out for the matches against France (February 3rd), Wales (February 23rd) and Ireland (March 16th); for what concerns the subscriptions- that will end February 2nd- so far the increase has been of 100% compared to last year.

With regard to the Italian-team last matches at the Olympic Stadium, Mauro Bergamasco, key-player of the Italian team says: «Flaminio Stadium has been our first home since 2000, but we needed more space. Olympic Stadium was a necessity and it is a wonderful sports facility. It is the football temple and filling it for rugby national team matches is fantastic. We are proud of it. We would like it to be our home forever».

In anticipation of the debut at the Olimpico, the Italian coach Jacques Brunel has called up 30 Italian players, who from January 20th will trainee at Rome CPO “Giulio Onesti”; there have been confirmed 37 out of the 31 players called up to play at November test matches: nearly all props and hookers have been confirmed, while there have been just some substitution for injury; the new entry is Paolo Buso, twenty-six-year-old fullback from Zebre team, who doesn’t play in the main team since 2008.

France, vice-champion of the tournament, is among the favourite teams, as England, even if the Italian national team coach wish to have the same result of two years ago against France, which was 22-21.  On the other hand Scotland national team has to face a two months- injury which impede Nick De Luca to play for the entire RBS tournament; important losses even for Wales national team, which for the continental tournament loses Bradley Davies, Luke Charteris and Alun-Wyn Jones and probably even Ian Evan.
