No game in this world can be played without rules because then the game cannot end neither you would understand that what are you actually playing. Even in action films of Hollywood we have heard a famous line that,Simplified Rules That Are Implemented In Tennis Articles “There is only one rule of this game, that there is no rule”, at least there is a rule even though it says that there is no rule. Rules actually decide that how the sport has to be played and how you can win the game. Every sport has its own rules, like in football there is a rule that the players are not allowed to touch the ball with hands otherwise there would be a foul. In cricket there is a rule that if the ball is balled by the player and his foot crosses the balling line then that ball would be considered as a ‘no ball’ and the batsman will get a free hit. There are similar rules in every sport depending on the sport equipments being used in the game. So, if each sport has rules then definitely tennis also got some rules. If we gather all the rules of tennis then there are around 10 basic rules of the game of tennis.

The rules that are implemented in tennis are pretty simple but tennis itself is bit complex. The first rule of tennis says that when the ball is being hit by the racquet to the opponent’s court then it has to be played by the opponent after a single bounce in his court. The second rule says that while serving the ball the player has to make sure that the serve is being done cross court and his foot must be behind the line otherwise the player who is serving the ball looses a point as it causes a ‘foot fault’. The third rule that is implemented in tennis tells about the game and sets that are involved in tennis. It says that a set consists of 6 games and a match consists of 3 sets so if a set becomes equal for both the players, which are 6-6, then there, is a tie break of 1st to 7 points. The fourth rule goes something like this, that whenever the ball touches the line of any player’s court while playing then the ball is considered inside the court. The fifth rule is a rule that is mutual to the rule of cricket. It says that the ball cannot hit the racquet twice during a single shot. In cricket this rule is called ‘double bat’.

These are very basic rules you need to understand for understanding a game of tennis because tennis livescore depends on the rules. Other remaining five rules of tennis are quite easy to understand that is why they are understood while watching the game. All the 10 rules of tennis that are applied in the game are the reasons because of which we get to see alteration in tennis livescore during live matches.
