PSIClone creates image files which may be 700 MB, 1 GB or 2GB depending on the user's preferences. PSICloneTM will format the destination drive with a FAT32 file system so that the files can be used with other PC based forensic tools. PSIClone's robust, user configurable error handling capabilities offer unique options when working with troubled drives; built-in, nondestructive HDD diagnostics tool helps to identify drive issues quickly. While not its primary function, the PSIClone can be used for verification of degaussed hard drives. Simply connect degaussed drives to the unit; if properly degaussed, the PSIClone will not recognize nor be able to read data from them.
