Enterprise mobility enables employees to have instant access to information or resources through mobile applications anywhere, anytime. Increased use of smart devices by employers

Enterprise mobility brings with it the convenience of size from a hand-held device as well as the savings from cost.

Desktop and laptop computers are well known smart devices. Consumers routinely use them to shop online, visit social networks, search for deals and do product research. A Google and IPSOS OTX MediaCT survey concurs: 79% of 5,013 smartphone owners surveyed in the U.S. used a smartphone to help with shopping, and 74% made a purchase following research conducted on their devices.

Increasing demand for mobile devices

Smart devices are more in demand these days due to their unique features and upcoming applications. Because of the growing affordability and need to stay connected to all of our social media outlets. We see a growing demand that businesses start optimizing their business to cater to anyone on a mobile device, which in turn is making it easier for their clients to order a service or product, and even change them in real time. With more and more consumers are turning to their mobile devices for their Internet usage, the development of mobile technologies and mobile apps are becoming increasingly important.

Sales of smartphones alone are expected to reach one billion, overtaking feature phones, and will account for a majority of mobile devices sold by 2015. Cisco says mobile-connected devices, including machine-to-machine modules will cross the seven billion mark, equaling the world’s expected population by 2015.
