God help me if I can find the time to play all these games right now!

Apologies if you’re still trying to find a PS5 in Australia,May 2021: a turning point for video games Articles but the list of PS5 exclusives just gets better and better. Returnal is the current PlayStation flagship everyone’s talking about, a sci-fi roguelike that’s been polished to perfection.

That said, it’s damn difficult. I don’t know how many times I had to look for guides on how to beat Phrike, the game’s first boss, before I managed to take him down. Chill out, Phrike!

The other game on the menu is Resident Evil Village. Oh boy, this is a goodie. The latest instalment in Capcom’s iconic survival horror series is near perfection, with a gorgeous cast of characters that’ll spook you, woo you, and well… mutilate poor Ethan Winters’ hands off again. Resident Evil Village reviews are unanimously praising the game, and I’ve got to say I agree.

There’s this, and on Friday I have to somehow fit in Mass Effect Legendary Edition! Oh well, at least I have a million hours of gameplay to tide me over until Final Fantasy 16 or the Battlefield 6 trailer drops.

Sorry, if the Battlefield 6 trailer drops…
