Whiteboard (Smartboard) is one of the world's first truly integrated
touch-based interactive LCD's - It is NOT an overlay! Our IR touch
technology allows you to control your computer directly from the LCD,
using your finger or a stylus enabling you to really engage with your
audience. Picture yourself in your office conference room, you have
your thoughts, ideas and projected forecasts ready in a presentation on
your laptop. You simply take the USB cable from the LCD and attach it
to your laptop and open the software. After a quick calibration on the
screen, you now have a presentation tool to convey your business
forecast to your colleagues. By using your finger or a stylus to touch
the LCD, you have a mouse at your 'fingertips' communication your ideas
and thoughts have never been so effective. Unlike some other touch
based LCD products, our products have the technology integrated into
the panel, they are not a retro-fit. In this way, we can ensure our
sleek LCD panels remain that way and are not visually impaired by a
cumbersome overlay or have the image degraded by a resistive film.
Parallax is also not an issue with the TouchIT LCD. Where you touch on
the panel is where the cursor appears, you are not a centimeter away as
