You can add the users manually via the “special permission list” feature that comes with the Remote Desktop program.

Next, you need to connect to a remote computer to be able to receive the remote assistance. Before trying to connect, do ensure that the remote desktop software has been properly configured, and that the remote users have been selected too. Once you have run a quick check, you can then initiate the connection to a remote computer. For this you need to go the accessories option from the start menu and then click on the “Communications” folder. Once inside the folder select the connection for the remote desktop software. Wait for a program window to open and then key in the IP address of the remote computer and then press connect. You should see a window asking for your username and password. Once you fill out these details you will be able to receive assistance from a remote computer.
