The detectors in such cases are usually linked with a water sprinkler that gets put on as soon as the detectors sense a rise in temperature.
  3. Child alarm systems- These alarm monitoring systemsare used in case a house is also the residing place of chronically ill adults or children. The sensors attached to this type of alarm system are linked to a health care unit which triggers off an alarm to the health care unit as soon as a small noise of higher frequency or radio frequencies is let out. Small babies are monitored with the help of this kind of residential security system.

Some residential alarm systems are provided with a visual monitoring unit.
