A Condo is a Good Alternative to a Hotel or Timeshare

Summertime is the perfect time of the year to take some time off and get a little rest and relaxation. Unfortunately, the high cost of a hotel keeps many vacationers from taking an extended vacation. This is especially true for large families that may need more than one hotel room to accommodate the entire family. Renting a condo is a great alternative to a hotel-stay because a rental condo includes many of the same amenities, but at a much more affordable price.

While some vacationers may choose to take on the investment of securing a timeshare, rather than paying the higher price of a hotel stay, renting a condo is the best of both worlds. Condo rentals have both the comforts of home and the amenities of a hotel. Hotel rooms in popular vacation destinations, such as the beach, tend to be more expensive during the busy summer months. As a result, many vacationers are willing to share one small hotel room with several people in order to afford their hotel stay. However, securing a condo rental can help eliminate these issues with price and space because the cost to rent a condo for one week is about the same price as one hotel room for only a few days. Furthermore, many of the amenities in a condominium community are much better than those found at a typical hotel. Many of these rental spaces are located in residential buildings where the residents and property owners pay monthly fees to have and maintain amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, golf course, boating launch, tennis court, and Internet. Just like at a hotel, access to these amenities is free of charge to both residents and guests. Many of these amenities simply are not available at a hotel, and if they are, one can expect to pay up to $200 per night. While a condominium rental may cost about the same, the living space is much larger, and comfortable for large groups of up to six people. Vacation rentals also offer the same person service that is available in a hotel. For instance, the property management companies that handle these rentals will employ a daily maid service as part of the terms of the rental.

If you're looking to take a long, affordable vacation, there are other alternatives to an expensive hotel stay. A short-term rental of a condo is a great value, especially for large groups and families who do not want to sacrifice their comfort for a cheaper hotel stay. In factFree Reprint Articles, many of these vacation rentals include better amenities than an expensive hotel resort.
