It’s a grand celebration of parades accompanied by drummers and dancers. Elephants are beautifully embodied with silk and the largest tusker carry the sacred tooth relic of Buddha to the “temple of tooth” also known Dalda Maligawa. The view from the hill top is splendid. The view of the heritage city takes our breath away.

Nuwara Eliya as known as “Little England” is a city of light. Mt. Piduratalagala, the highest peak of Sri Lanka overlooks to the city of light. Nuwara Eliya is also the tea producing region of Srilanka. Trekkers get an exclusive experience travelling through the Horton Plains. If lucky they can also get a glance of the leopard or sambhar. Tourists can also take a walk to the Hakgala Botanical Gardens to catch a glimpse of roses and ferns.
