Having the appropriate backpacking training will enable you to pack your bag correctly and allow you to have a fantastic adventure.

Technically, there are a number of ways that you can pack your bag. Many backpackers use a number of techniques for coordination and putting the right amount in their pack, while trying to decrease the overall weight. I have put together a number of suggestions that I think are the most important in backpacking training. The decision is yours on which suggestions you might use. However, by applying these backpacking training ideas, you will see that packing your pack will be a way easier task.

Using color coded bags is a terrific method of organization. Most backpackers use an internal frame bag because it is simpler to carry. However, these kinds of bags typically just have a single large storage area, as opposed to a variety of compartments. As a result, it is much easier to "lose" items in your pack and become unorganized. The way around this is by color coding the bags. If you categorize things that should be together and place them in a distinct colored bag, you will know the color you are trying to find when you look inside the pack.

An additional issue for many backpackers is where to pack what. When packing your things, you will need to place anything you need to find quickly in the outside pockets or on top of the backpack. You will need to also avoid objects in the back of the bag that will be against your back. This will enable you more comfort when traveling if there is no padding in that side of the backpack. Finally, it is smart to make sure that the backpack is properly weighted, so that a single side will not weigh more than the other.
