Himachal is one of the best tourist spot in India. If you are travelling to India, then visiting to Himachal Pradesh is must.

Himachal Pradesh is a beautiful state in North India which is also known as the land of temples. There are many temples devoted to almost every Hindu god in Himachal Pradesh. Himanchal Pradesh is also famous among tourists due to the scenic beauty of this place. There are many tourist destinations here which are worth visiting.

1. Shimla:

Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the most popular and most visited hill stations of India. Shimla was the summer capital of India during British regime. There are many tourist spots in Shimla such as Mall Road,Book Holiday Trip to Himachal Articles Himachal Stated Museum, Botanical Garden, Summer Hill and Tara Devi temple.

You can also visit Kufri, which is at short distance from Shimla.  

2. Kullu and Manali:

Kullu and Manali are next two best hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. While Kullu is known as "Valley of Gods", Manali is famous for its mountains. Rohtang Pass, Vashishtha temple, temple of Manu and Hidimba Devi are some of the famous places of Kullu and Manali. 

3. Rohtang Pass:

Rohtang Pass is situated at a short distance from Manali in the east of Pir Panjal Himalayan range. It connects Kullu valley to Lahaul Spiti valley. The pass opens from May to November.

4. Dalhousie:

Dalhousie is situated in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Spread over five hills, this hill station was established by the British in 1854 and named it after Lord Dalhousie. It is like a gateway to the district of Chamba. The best time to visit Dalhousie is from May to September.

5. Dharamshala:

It is beautiful city in the upper regions of the Chamba valley. It is the closest to Tibet in India. If you are looking for spiritual improvement then this place is best to visit. The best time to visit Dharamshala is either in the spring or in the autumn season.

6. Kangra:

The city of Kangra lies in the Kangra district. Earlier known as Nagarkot, it was ruled by many dynasties. This is a simple yet beautiful place.
