Australia is known for its festivals and you are going to find that in any region of Australia at just about any time of the year you can locate some community festivals happening throughout the region. These festivals are amazing and there are many tourists who actually plan their holiday around what festivals will be in Sydney during a particular time frame.

Australia is known for its festivals and you are going to find that in any region of Australia at just about any time of the year you can locate some community festivals happening throughout the region.  These festivals are amazing and there are many tourists who actually plan their holiday around what festivals will be in Sydney during a particular time frame.  They are typically free to the public and they serve as an excellent way for visitors to get to understand the culture of this fine city better.

March is a month of Greek history in Sydney.  The Greek Festival of Sydney occurs the entire month and brings focus to the Greek culture with arts, foods, and ceremonies.  This month long celebration is something that locals and visitors embrace and look forward to experiencing.  Twilight at Taronga wraps up at the end of March.
