A tourist destination in Spain

Spain is a very popular country for tourists; this is probably due to its many attractions: the beautiful landscape,HOLIDAY DESTINATIONS IN SPAIN: SANTA EULALIA Articles the breathtaking views, the warm water of the sea, the amazing architecture, and the list goes on and on. The islands of Spain are always at the top when it comes to choosing a holiday destination. Ibiza is one of the most popular ones, especially among young tourists, because it is the capital of fun in Spain. Ibiza has several important towns and Santa Eulalia is one of them. The third in size on the island, Santa Eulalia is popular for couples and tourists who travel with their families. The main attraction in this town is represented by the beaches: Platja Santa Eularia de Riu is the most important one, as it is the longest and has a beautiful esplanade packed with restaurants and terraces.

Attractions, places to see and lots of fun

Santa Eulalia is renowned for its architecture; unlike the other towns in Ibiza, where people only go to sunbathe and to party in one of the dance clubs, in Santa Eulalia sightseeing occupies a special place. The beautiful town hall dating back to the 18th century is situated in the centre of the town, called Placa de Espanya. Pedestrians have a street of their own in this quarter, which is full of craft shops and restaurants serving some of the best dishes in Santa Eulalia. The sightseeing should continue at the 16th century fortress Puig de Missa and with the Museum of Ethnology. This museum is an open gate towards the past and the history of the town, its traditions and its customs.

A place for the hippie style

The hippies have always loved Santa Eulalia because it offers them a lot of attention. Punta Arabi is a place dedicated to them, a strip of land covered with trees where every Wednesday more than 400 stalls are waiting for their hippie customers. Just 7 kilometres to the north is the village of Santa Carles, which used to be a popular destination for hippies from all around the world in the 1960s.

Why a family destination?

Santa Eulalia is definitely a family holiday destination because the night life here is not as important as in other towns on the island of Ibiza. It is a very relaxed town, a very peaceful one, which creates the perfect atmosphere for a special family holiday, so choose it! You will soon adore it!
