One of the most interesting, biggest and most popular festivals is Fringe - street theatre festival. In the summer August and in the beginning of September Edinburgh will change into the cultural capital of Great Britain and even the whole Europe. Beginnings of the festival goes to year 1947 when for the first time the international festival was organized. The idea of festival was so well welcomed that there were so many artists and even not all of them could perform. Many of them decided to act on the street so not to go home with nothing. Thanks to that Edinburgh is probably the biggest town of festivals. In Edinburgh people from all over the world are meeting to share the passion of art, culture and their own ideas.
