Kostoski International Festival is a festival that is held every year in Ohrid Macedonia in several terms in spring,Kostoski International Festival - get to know the beauties of Ohrid and Lake Ohrid Articles summer and autumn. The festival has many participants from all over the world. The goal of this international festival, which features numerous folklore groups, choirs, orchestras and majorettes  is to show the culture, music, costumes, songs, dances and traditions of different countries around the world and at the same time the participants to gain new friendships  and to get acquainted with the beauties of the city of Ohrid and Ohrid Lake.

There is no age limit, anyone can perform, there is also no limit to the number of participants in the group. In addition to performances, participants of the festival in their free time also have a tour of the city of Ohrid and the monastery of St. Naum with a tour guide.

Ohrid is a city in Macedonia, which it is the largest city on Lake Ohrid and the eighth-largest city in the country where the festival is held. Ohrid once had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as a "Jerusalem of the Balkans". The city of Ohrid is rich with history, picturesque houses, monuments, folklore traditions, festivals, natural beauties and tourism is predominant. The most famous jewelry in Macedonia are the Ohrid pearls which are produced by 2 families from Ohrid. In 1979 and in 1980 respectively, Ohrid and Lake Ohrid were accepted as Cultural and Natural World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO's World Heritage that are Cultural as well as Natural sites.

Lake Ohrid is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Balkans. Lake Ohrid is one of the deepest and oldest European standing waters in this part of Europe. The deepest point is 286 meters and was measured between the villages of Pestani and Trpejca, approximately 5 km from the lake shore. The lake is located at 695 meters above sea level, the maximum transparency of the water is about 22 meters.

Before the festival closes, each group receives a gift and a Diploma for participation.
