Jumeriah Mosque is the largest mosque in the city, it has some exquisite architecture and beautiful Arabic calligraphy that will leave you spell bound. It is open for visits by non-Muslims.

Moving towards all that is modern now, your first place of visit should undoubtedly be the Burj Khalifa, which is one of the tallest structures in the world, only beaten by the Shanghai World Financial Center. With the Dubai Mall on the ground floor and fountain system-Vegas inspired, the Burg Khalifa is an architecture wonder of the modern day worth visiting.

Burj-al-Arab hotel is a self proclaimed seven star hotel, it is a very fine hotel and worth a visit.

Dubai Marina is one of the more popular areas of modern Dubai. Here you will find some of the world class hotels, the Dubai skyline to behold, coffee shops, restaurants, and malls to start you shopping spress.

Palm islands, s the palace to go to when in Dubai. They are a group of three large artificial islands. Each of the islands is shaped like a palm leaf, with a trunk connected to the mainland, fronds extending from the trunk, and a crescent (a breakwater encircling the trunk and fronds). Of the three planned, the Palm Jumeirah, at 5km square and near Dubai Marina, is the only one yet open, connected to the mainland by a freeway bridge and a monorail and sporting marinas, luxury resorts, and upscale shopping areas.
