If the kid in you crave seeing wild critters that just happen to be pythons and water dragons; you can satisfy that craving at the Walkabout Creek Wildlife Center. Located inside Brisbane National Forest it has interesting natural animal exhibits on display. Kids will really enjoy this trip as well as get to visit a sheep ranch where you can learn how wool is made and why is was important to the area.

Australia's winter annually plays host to whales. Point Lookout with it's incredible views is the best place to view these magnificent water mammals. Point Lookout as well as the rain forest is part of North Stradbrooke Island, and always the right choice to hit and play in the water away from the city.
