This museum is excellent and it was even recognized by USA Today for making a difference in its community. In 1998, many changes were undertaken and the museum grew to become what it is today. During this time frame the museum began to offer longer hours and even special slots for birthday parties and groups. By 1999 the museum had begun to grow even more and offer things such as Totally Toddlers, Sky Crawl, Siegl Circus, and Giant Pin Screen. These new programs were important to the museum and allowed families of all sizes and ages to enjoy the museum.

Today there are many things offered at the museum from hands on learning, bi-weekly Science Day Camps, staff exhibits, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, and more.
