Cape Town is the largest city in South Africa,The Many Tourist Attractions In Cape Town Articles and a very popular tourist destination for many reasons. You can find dozens of cheap flights to Cape Town to fit your schedule, and thousands of people do this every year. Table Mountain is located within Table Mountain National Park, and soars 1,086 metres above the Table Bay. The summit of this beautiful sandstone mountain stretches almost 3km from side to side. The view is amazing when it is clear, and you can easily access the top to partake in this view by taking the cable way. You will gaze at a 360 degree view while slowing riding to the summit. Or you can choose one of over 350 paths up the mountain. However you choose to get to the top, you will not be disappointed when you arrive. If the giants of the ocean interest you, then check out the Cape Whale Coast between June and November. Humpback, Bryde's and Southern Right Whales make their appearance at the Cape Overberg coast. In fact, over 37 species of whales and dolphins migrate here, and some can be seen as close as 20-30 metres frm the shore. This is definitely a sight you don't want to miss. Cape Town's Beaches are a popular attraction, but the water is a bit on the chilly side. The beautiful beaches make up for the cold water, and if you feel restricted in a swimsuit, head to Sandy Bay, one of the most well known nudist beaches. Boulder Beach, named obviously for the giant boulders that shelter the beach, has been the home to African penguins since 1982. These silly penguins will wander between boulders and swim in the water with you. Children especially love this beach, but adults seem to keep coming back as well.  The Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens covers over 528 hectares of the slopes of Table Mountain. See an awesome fern garden, learn what medicinal plants are used for, smell the fragrant scents, and treat your eyes to fantastic colours. Egyptian geese and meerkats also make their home here. Take in a sunset concert on the lawn to end your day. Cape Point, also known as Cape of Storms or the Cape Of Good Hope, reaches far into the sea. It contains some of the freshest air and highest sea cliffs anywhere. It has been responsible for many shipwrecks, as evident on the shipwreck trail hike. The lighthouse, which used to be invisible to ships at sea, is now the most powerful on the coast.  These are just a few of the fantastic things you can see in South Africa so searching for cheap flights Cape Town should definitely be on your list.
