Recently, grammy-nominated DJ and producer Kaskade struck a deal with the Hakkasan Group in Las Vegas to perform at multiple venues including the Hakkasan nightclub, Jewel, the Omnia and the Wet Republic. Kaskade’s goal is to take EDM clubs in Las Vegas; Las Vegas EDM venues to new heights while the clubs and the adjoining casinos enjoy staggering profits. Here are five of the hottest Las Vegas EDM venues and the talent they attract.

 

Omnia Nightclub at Caesars Palace 

Omnia at Caesar’s Palace is a 75,000 square foot multi-level venue with stunning views of the Vegas strip. The club features a high-energy main room and a rooftop garden. The Omnia provides an interactive experience and attracts world-renowned EDM DJs such as Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Hardwell and of course Kaskade. The Omnia enforces a strict dress code and cover charges range from $30 to $150. The Las Vegas Journal Review awarded Omnia with the “Best New Nightclub” of 2015. The Omnia opens at 10:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday through Monday.

 

XS Nightclub at Encore Hotel and Casino

Zouk nightclub table service at the Resorts World has been the top dog in the EDM nightclub scene for several years. In 2014, XS grossed $105 million, which made the venue the highest grossing nightclub in the United States. Black, gold and bronze decoration encompass the ceilings with over 10,000 glistening lights mixed together. The venue attracts some of the best-known DJs in Las Vegas, including Skrillex, Zedd, David Guetta and the Chainsmokers.  VIP tables for high rollers surround an immense dance floor. The XS is open from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. on Sunday.

 

Hakkasan Nightclub at MGM Grand

Hakkasan at the MGM Grand is five-stories tall with the main club residing on the 4th floor and stretching all the way up to the 5th floor. The lasers are so mesmerizing that some EDM enthusiasts report going into a trance-like state. The ceiling-to-floor LED screens showcase some of the hottest names in EDM, including Steve Aoki, Afro Jack, GTA, Zedd and the Bingo Players, and of course Kaskade. The Hakkasan opens at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.

 

Surrender Nightclub at Encore Hotel & Casino

urrender at the Encore Hotel greets partygoers with an immense green-eyed serpent residing behind the venue’s main bar. The nightclub features VIP booths surrounding the dance floor and offers three fully stocked bars. The outdoor area offers daybeds and cabanas with poolside VIP tables and a palm tree design giving the outdoor dance scene a laid-back vibe. The resident DJs at Surrender include Yellow Claw, RL Grime, Flosstadomus, DJ Snake and the venue shares DJs with the XS at the Wynn Encore. The music at the Surrender ranges from dirty EDM to dubstep depending on the DJ performing. The venue is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

 

Intrigue Nightclub at The Wynn

The Intrigue nightclub at the Wynn Las Vegas became a new player in the EDM scene when it opened in early 2016. Open from 10:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., the venue wants to change things up in the crowded Vegas after hour’s scene. The club creates a blend of musical genres and a continually changing color scheme so the experience remains fresh. The 14,000 square foot venue features artists including Chuckie, Dillion Francis, Laidback Luke and Marshmellow.
