You may have encountered a few unexplained situations yourself which lead you to a conclusion that psychic ability could be at work within you.  There could be a lot of people out there with the potential to be a psychic medium who may for a variety of reasons be suppressing an important part of themselves.   This article will explain how a psychic medium works and give you pointers to help you decide for yourself if you are a psychic medium.    

A medium has the ability to link with those who have passed over to the other side, they can also see ghosts.  The term psychic is often broadly used to describe a wide range of paranormal abilities, however the emphasis is on using the intuition and the ability to link into the spirit guides.  Psychics and mediums can sometimes combine their abilities and compliment a reading for example a psychic may have mediumistic skills. 

If you get a sense or a feeling when you are in the presence of someone that something is going to happen in their life and it comes true then you are likely to have psychic ability.  Perhaps this is a premonition because it came to you spontaneously, maybe you saw it in your minds eye or you felt it on an intuitive level.

If you receive messages from those on the other side or see a presence then you are likely to have mediumistic abilities.  Quite often we hear of people who have a vision of someone who is in the process of crossing over.  These are ordinary people from varied walks of life who may never have practiced as a medium.  Perhaps you have dreams about loved ones on the other side or feel a presence or see a shadowy figure. 

Perhaps you have had a combination of both of these experiences and if so you could be a psychic medium.  If you were to develop your abilities you will learn to switch between the different vibrations and communicate to spirits and the spirit world.   A good place to start developing your psychic medium ability is the spiritualist church and you need to come with a very open mind.
