We girls try so many remedies to get rid of this unwanted hair like shaving, waxing, threading and plucking among others. However, sadly these all these are temporary methods and you may have to repeat the process within a week all over again.

However, now there is laser hair removal method which is a lot more permanent than any other hair removal methods. Of course all the girls want to get rid of unwanted hair outbreaks for once and all and have a dolphin smooth skin. Here are some of the things that you must know about laser hair removal before you get it done.

Stop waxing and plucking

Girls, laser hair removal is nothing like waxing, so stay away from waxing or plucking for at least 4 to 6 weeks before getting the laser work done. The laser hair removal works by targeting the roots of the hair and that is the reason why you should not pluck your hair.

However, shaving is somewhat encouraged before getting the laser hair removal as it leaves the hair roots in their place and makes the laser hair removal procedure easier. Also your laser procedure will be scheduled in 8 to 10 weeks interval, so that you can in between resume with your waxing and plucking.

Avoid the sun

At least a couple of weeks before getting the Glendale laser hair removal  treatment it is very important to stay away from the harsh rays of the sun and especially do not get a tan not even the artificial spray tan. Now you may ask why so? So, the reason is that the tanned skin reacts to the laser treatment which results in discoloration of your skin. Not just that, there can also be rashes and blisters. In fact many of laser technicians even refuse to do the laser treatment; if they discover just a slight tan and your appointment will be rescheduled after your tan goes away.

 Say no to bleach!

As mentioned in the earlier, the laser hair removal procedure works by targeting the roots of your hair. The laser hair removal targets and recognizes the pigmentation of your hair and the roots of your hair absorb that light. If there are traces of bleach on your hair roots, then it will become difficult for laser to targets the roots and thus the treatment will be a waste and so will be your money.

So, it is advisable that you should avoid bleach at least 5 to 6 weeks before you go for the laser hair removal treatment.

Remove any trace of make-up

The beauty products ingredients sometimes can affect the overall results of laser hair removal treatments.  So, it is advised to remove make-up, ointment, lotion, perfume applied on the area to be treated before you get started with the Glendale laser procedure. Just clean the area to with treated with soap and water.
