Have you read or seen the latest buzz in the news recently on women holding Taser parties?

Forget the Tupperware parties and the Avon Parties!

Here are excerpts from three different sources:

Foxnews.com Reports: “Women aren't picking out the latest Tupperware anymore,Taser Parties To Become The Latest Fad? Articles but choosing which color Taser gun would fit best in their purse. Groups of women meet up at each other's homes to discuss buying Taser guns to protect themselves.”

Local6.com Reports: “Groups of women are gathering at homes across America for Taser parties, where the guns are presented with wine and cheese, similar to earlier Tupperware parties.”

Consumer Electronics By Humphrey Cheung - Phoenix (AZ) Reports: “You can call it the Tupperware party for the 21st century – women in Phoenix Arizona are having Taser parties.  The parties are organized by Lisa Rigberg and party goers get to test out and fire fashionable Tasers, all while dining on wine and cheese.  Umm…. We’re not sure if drinking alcohol and firing electric weapons mix, but these women seem to think so.”

I have written articles myself lately on the new Woman’s Taser C2. Here is a little background on the Taser C2:

Tasers are not considered a firearm, they considered legal for civilian use. There are some states, cities, and countries that do ban them, so make sure they are legal where you live before making your purchase.

A taser is a hand-held weapon that delivers a jolt of electricity up to 50,000 volts, up to 15 feet away. This allows you to keep a safe distance away from your attacker. The taser C2 shoots out two darts that are connected to the 15 feet of wire. The taser stuns the attacker which causes an uncontrollable contraction in the muscle tissue. The attacker becomes immobilized and falls to the ground.

To promote responsible ownership and prevent misuse, the TASER C2 will function only after the owner completes a background check. TASER C2 cartridges come with Anti-Felon ID tag and have a unique serial number and are equipped with Anti-Felon Identification tags to allow law enforcement to track potential misuse. AFID tags are dispersed upon discharge.
