Legal Action Workshop was founded in 1978 when Stephen Marc Drucker moved to Los Angeles from San Jose. He applied his expertise in handling a high volume practice to Legal Action Workshop’s first storefront office in Sherman Oaks, California.

His concept was to provide low-cost legal services in three main areas:

* Attorney-assisted (in pro per) law
* Document preparation
* Full representation

Mr. Drucker developed a love of working with people of average means to help them solve their legal issues quickly and cost effectively.

At Legal Action Workshop, he developed a new approach to attorney-assisted (in pro per) law. He created a flat fee “in pro per” or “partial representation” model as an alternative to full legal representation.

Over the past 30 years, the practice has grown to five offices in Los Angeles County and has achieved high recognition throughout the state of California.
