Jen DeTracey spearheads Buzz Marketing and Consultants (BMC), a Vancouver-based marketing consulting firm. Jen works with small business owners who are already successful yet want to get and keep more customers. BMC is known for its guerrilla-style marketing strategies. BMC’s roster includes companies from the following sectors: manufacturing, consumer products, B2B services, retail, technology, educational institutions, and non-profits.

In 2003, Jen was rated as the top instructor at Langara College as part of its General Certified Business Program. In 2005, she developed Speed Marketing, a program for busy entrepreneurs, teaching them how to understand marketing better and assisting them with creating an Annual Marketing Action Plan in one day. In 2006, she launched her newest program, Businesswoman Beyond, an action-oriented group coaching program for self-employed women who want to take their business above and beyond.

During the past 15 years, Jennifer DeTracey has spoken at the Bodwell Institute, Capilano College, Vancouver Film School, SFU, UBC, the City of Surrey, VanCity Credit Union, WESBC, Options for Sexual Health, and the Business Development Bank of Canada.
