Brief biography:
With 25 years experience in marketing and much of that in small business, Karen shares her knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for marketing to coaches who want to grow their businesses. She runs a range of programmes under Effective Marketing for Coaches.
Karen has a Masters Degree in Marketing specialising in small business. Her dissertation in 1996 was in Networking: an effective small business marketing tool? Karen also has a Diploma in Marketing, a PGCHE - teaching certificate for adults, Certificate in Teaching Online. Karen taught undergraduate and post graduate marketing courses at South Bank University for three years. She setup three companies in the past 20 years - one is still profitable 11 years on. She's responsible for revolutionising the way people study for the professional marketing qualifications and this approach has now become the industry norm. She practices the tools and approaches she shares with others. She also continues to support young marketing professionals as they prepare for their professional exams.
