Michael Celender is an entrepreneur using his experience as a speaker, coach, consultant, teacher and therapist to develop untapped potential in others. He began his career as a therapist at a psychiatric hospital developing patients' abilities to manage stress, conflict and self-esteem. Michael became disenchanted with the healthcare system after seeing the same patients return again and again. He realized that the solutions offered by mainstream industry are only band-aids dealing at a surface level. Celender then moved into the corporate arena as a performance and leadership consultant, pouring his energy into creating working environments with less stress and drudgery, and more meaning and fulfillment. After 10 years of struggling in this endeavor against corporate leadership, the only way he could pursue his passion, which was helping individuals tap into their authentic power, was to break free.

In September 2006 Michael quit his well-paid career with no fall back, no money in savings, no retirement, and a house mortgaged at 100% - all because he woke up to the real meaning of life. Celender has since written a book about his experience (Escape the Cubicle: Unleash the Hero Within due out 9/1/07) and founded the company Unleash the Hero (http://www.unleashthehero.com ). "As spirit, we come into this world to experience the adventure of life" Michael states.
