Chicago State University was started as a teacher training school in 1867, then became a state college in 1967 and was soon given the status of University in1971. It is a fully certified public, urban institution situated on 161-picturesque acres in a residential community in Chicago , Illinois . It provides bachelors, masters and certificate degrees. It mainly prepares students for success in the twenty-first century and gives importance to education in the stream of humanities.
