Serena and Venus Williams powered into the second round of the Australian Open in Melbourne on Tuesday, 20th Jan.
Both the Williams' sisters looked in top form as they cruised through the first round. It wasn't such a great day for Elena Dementieva of Russia. She did win but had to struggle hard to stay in against a rival few though to be a major challenge.
