Chaste tree is derived from the dried, ripened fruit of Vitex agnuscastus
The ancients called it Monk’s pepper. This is because chaste tree berry (also known as Vitex and by he trade name Femaprin) supposedly had the ability to decrease sexual desire. However, others say it is an aphrodisiac, in other words, it has the opposite effect. Can both be true?
Coming from Southern Europe, Chaste Tree berry also called “monk’s pepper” having a botanical name of Vitex agnus castus from the Verbenaceae family group of plants is a huge flowering shrub having an aromatic odor that actually reaches about twenty feet in height. The flowers habitually bloom in the course of late summer or early fall with flowers ranging from lilac to blue and white.
Summer is just around the corner and new costumes for fashion female predict sea outside the box, chaste bikini, sports two pieces or real small works of art for a summer at the sign of the imagination and the thoughtlessness.
