Avery's Index Maker dividers are most often standard letter size and come in five or eight tab banks, with a few 1/12 options as well. Most are three hole punched for use in a three ring binder with a few unpunched for use with a binding machine. They can be printed using a laser or inkjet printer. Templates can be found in Microsoft Word or online. The index makers line includes translucent, white clear label with both regular and copier tabs, clear pocket, and extra wide dividers.

Direct Print. These allow you to customize your own labels by printing directly onto the tab using templates from Microsoft Word or downloaded online. These are created from white heavyweight paper stock and feature a reinforcing strip along the binding edge. The High Speed style is three hole punched for use in a three ring binder and is compatible with laser printers. Regular Presentation Dividers are unpunched for use in binding systems. You can print on these with either a laser or inkjet printer.

Ready Index. These preprinted dividers have tabs to match up with a table of contents. All except the extra wide are a standard 8.5" by 11" and many offer color tabs. They come translucent, multicolored, and black and white. A Double Column system allows numbering through 16, 24, or 32. The Easy Edit Ready Index lets you print your own table of contents using the templates and easily slide it into the plastic divider. Extra Wide measures 11" by 9.5" for tabs that extend beyond the contents. An Executive Kit is also available. This Presentation Binder package includes a table of contents page with matching divider tabs, a cover sheet, and a spine insert.

Write On laminated tabs allow you to write directly on the tab with pen or pencil, erase, and write again for multiple uses. A reinforced edge protects against tears. Choose between translucent, big tab, or plain tab styles.

Dividers with insertable labels can be found in Big Tab styles with or without pockets or with a style edge. Work Saver Insertable dividers also come with Big Tab and pocket options but offer a reinforced binding strip. Both styles are three hole punched for use in a three ring binder and come in a variety of colors.

Avery also makes a line with black and red leather tabs as well as laminated tabs. These are all preprinted with either A-Z, 1-31, or Jan-Dec. Other styles include double pocket, data binder tabs, ledger style dividers, untabbed division sheets, and a variety of self-adhesive tabs.
