There are a number of terrific places to take family portraits in Orange County. Each city, Las Flores, Mission Viejo, Laguna Hills and Laguna Hills each of their own special locations. One of the best location in Coto de Caza is the Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park.

Easy Access

Great Settings for Family Portraits

Coto de Caza is a diverse park. A substantial part of the park is wooded. The rest of the park is made up of large open fields, rolling hills and riverbeds. These traits provide a number of rich, diverse and beautiful backgrounds for family portraits. Additionally, although the park is in Orange County, a major Southern California population center, the surrounding hills hide most of the evidence of human habitation. Therefore, most shots will not have unsightly houses or other buildings in the background.

Fun Place for Families to Linger After the Shoot

Many families who have their portraits taken in the park at Coto de Caza decide to stay afterwards and enjoy the surroundings. In this way the whole family gets something out of the evening. The parents are usually satisfied that they finally got the portrait taken they were planning for the past 5 years and the kids are happy to have trails to hike, trees to climb, and dry riverbeds to explore.
