A lot of people do not know what the rapture really is, or what will occur when it happens. Is the rapture even in the Bible ?

There are two words or things that a lot of people like to bring up in conversations or articles,Guest Posting to try to cause confusion, disagreements or just as general questions, because they say the words are not mentioned in the Bible, even though pastors, theologians and many others say they are, and these two worlds or phrases are; 'trinity' and 'rapture'.Let me start by saying, when it comes to some things, we just need to put on our thinking caps, and use common sense. Everyone should know that words have meanings behind them. Many times folks mention the Holy Trinity, and yet folks say it's not in the Bible, to say that the trinity is not in the Bible is foolish, and wrong. Trinity simply means a group of three or three individuals. When someone mentions the trinity in the Bible, they are just referring to the three parts that make up the Godhead, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We are told about the trinity numerous times in the Holy Bible, and all one has to do is read it, to see for themselves. Now that I have given a brief on finding mention of the trinity in the Bible, I want to get to the word that this section is about, the Rapture. Like the word 'trinity' the Bible certainly does mention the Rapture, and explains in detail what it is, and what will happen when it occurs. The exact word 'rapture' like the word 'trinity' may not be found in most modern translations or printings of the Bible, but its true meaning is. The word rapture is just a word derived from old Greek and Latin, which simply means; 'caught up', 'snatch up' or 'taken away'. To Christians there is perhaps no other word that fills their hearts with expectation, and joy as the word rapture, but to non-Christians, the rapture is an event that will leave millions of people shocked, terrified and saddened greatly, it will be an event that will be many times more intense or shocking then when 9/11 happened on September 11, 2001, in America, or when the great tsunami struck Japan in March of 2011.Here is a simplified version of what I believe will happen when the rapture occurs:A husband, wife and their small child are driving down a highway, on their way to dinner at a restaurant. The weather is nice and sunny, and it's warm enough to have the vehicle windows open, and the radio plays as the family, chats and heads toward their destination.Cars pass by in the passing lane, and other vehicles pass in the opposite direction in there respected lanes. Suddenly, without any warning, the husband vanishes, the wife in shock, screams in terror as she tries to regain control of the vehicle. As the wife manages to pull the vehicle safely off the road, she hears the sounds of numerous accidents around her, as other vehicles cross lanes and crash into each other, or travel off the road and crash into buildings or plunge over cliffs. The wife places the transmission lever in park, and turns to look at her young child, that was strapped safely in the car seat, her face distorts to terror as she realizes the child has also vanished. The vehicle radio is interrupted by the emergency broadcast signal, and soon a message is sounded that reports are coming in, that millions of people have suddenly vanished all over the world. Trains, trucks, cars, planes, jetliners and other vehicles have crashed as their drivers and pilots vanished, leaving nobody at the controls. There may also be reports of corpses vanishing from graves, all over the world, and some bodies that were lying in open caskets at viewings, disappearing also. The entire world which has been filled with recent chaos, has now took an even deeper plunged into a nightmare that has become real, and what soon unfolds will be even worse, as the world witnesses greater horrors of the Great tribulation period.Where did the people go that vanished suddenly, and why were some taken while others right next to them, were left behind? The Bible tells us that when the rapture occurs, it has happened because Jesus Christ has returned to the earth, to take his followers, the true Christians to be with him, safe in Heaven. They have been removed because all hell is about to break loose upon the earth, as the horrors of the Great Tribulation, intensify greatly. Those that have been left upon the earth will be everyone that is old enough to know right from wrong, and with a mental ability to have accepted and follow Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, but they have chosen for one reason or another to have rejected him as their personal Lord and Savior, and have not lived as a Christian should live.In other words when the rapture occurs, true Christians will be removed from the earth, in an instant. Those people that are left upon the planet will have to live through the rest of the Great tribulation period, the part where the mark of the beast system will be implemented, and judgments from God are unleashed in greater intensity. The Great Tribulation will last for a total of 7 years, and will include such terrors as the reign of the Antichrist, Mark of the Beast, terrible diseases, murder, wars with nuclear weapons, terrorism, earthquakes, volcano's, floods, and more severe and frequent storms then there has ever been, terrifying signs and great wonders in the skies, and a lot more. It will be like the scene of a Hollywood horror movie, being played out for 7 years, only it will be real, and effecting every living person upon the Earth. At the end of the Great Tribulation, those that were dead as well as the people that were alive, that vanished at the rapture, will return with Jesus Christ, in new, glorified, bodies, that will live forever. If you would like to know what the Bible says about this subject and lots of others, you may be interested in a great eBook that is available on Amazon, for the Kindle eBook reader.
