Sri Lankan Cricket Team will visit to India immediately after playing One-day international series in Pakistan and this is why Sri Lankan Cricket Team has shorten its tour to Pakistan.
India first insisted Sri Lanka to cancel its tour to Pakistan but latter on offered to play a series with it in Sri Lanka. 5 One-day international matches will be played between the two teams and first two matches of the series would be played in Dambulla on 28th and 30th January.3rd One day international match will be played on 2nd February at R Premadasa Stadium while 4th one day international match will be played on 5th February and final match of the tour will be played on 8th February at SSC.
According to Sri Lankan Cricket Team official, Indian Cricket Team will reach in Sri Lanka on 26th January. The first two matches of the series will be played in Dambulla, which is at 150km distance from the capital of Sri Lanka Colombo. This city is famous for temple and beautiful lakes .All one-day international matches will be day-night except the 5th one-day international match. After playing 5 one-day international matches both teams will reach in Colombo for 20 twenty match. This match will also be a day-night match like One-day international cricket series.
The relationships between the Sri Lankan and Indian Cricket Boards became quite tense when Arjuna Ranatunga gave some aggressive statements against the IPL.
