One of the best places to chill, Goa has a successfully lived upto its reputation of being India’s party capital. Whenever there’s a discussion about going out of station the first name that comes into mind is Goa.

The state has a lot of well maintained beaches where you can indulge in various adventure sports. Divided into two parts named big Vagator and Small Vagator, the beach offers a wide variety of sightseeing spots for the visitors. You can enjoy some good sea food with and equally amazing view while sitting in the shacks. Famous for its sunsets, the beach attracts foreign as well as Indian backpackers.



  1. Anjuna Beach: Famous among the hippies, Anjuna Beach hosts some of the most exciting trance parties in Goa. Not only can you party here, you can also shop here from the famous flea market held every Wednesday. This beach also has a number of shacks to relax. Although not really famous for adventure sports you can indulge in bungee diving here.



  1. Candolim Beach: Fairly uncommercialised, Candolim beach lies in North Goa and is quite different from other beaches situated there. With almost no shacks, one can find restaurants and shacks only on the Calangute Candolim Road. An ideal place for meditation one should visit here to bask in the sun and enjoy peace. If you liked ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, then you must visit Fort Aguada to recreate the moment with you friends.



  1. Palolem Beach: Majorly inhabited with fishermen and foreigners, Palolem beach is a unspoiled beach away from crowds and urban atmosphere in other North Goa beaches. The beach is surrounded by rocks on the one side which provides it a very secluded atmosphere. Like Baga beach this beach has huge number of shacks and restaurants. However, the USP of the place is stone sculpture created by Jacek Tylicki called “Money Stone” .



With so many beaches in the state, there’s no dearth of places to visit in Goa and be awed by the beauty of the state. Just pick any Mumbai to Goa train according to your interest to come to the party capital of India.
