This article explores how Denali has been in high demand recently. Denali has been one of the major causes of GM's profit this year.
According to customers the decision to trade in an old vehicle for the 2012 Acadia Denali Crossover is a no-brainer. Matt and Dawn Sosebee, two Acadia Denali Crossover customers weighed in on what makes the vehicle so valuable. Matt said, “Acadia Denali blew away the Highlander. The overall high quality and options really impressed us, and we've gotten a lot of compliments on it too. It's a great looking vehicle.”
The quality of the Acadia Denali Crossover just doesn’t compare to other, similar vehicles. The Sosebees were originally considering a Toyota Highlander for their new vehicle, but aftering giving it a good comparison with the Acadia Denali, they just knew Denali was the right choice. The fuel economy and other great features really won the Sosebees over.
The other great features that convinced the Sosebees that the Denali was the right car for them were the cooled and heated seats, the backup camera, and the IntelliLink infotainment system. The Sosebees were also greatly impressed with the SmartSlide seating system which gives third row passengers easy access to their seating by only having to push a button to move the second row seats out of the way.
And the Sosebees aren’t the only ones who are on board. In the month of October the demand for Denali vehicles was up twenty percent, and Denali sales were the cause of fourteen percent of GMC’s sales this year. That’s a ninety eight percent jump from last year! Almost thirty percent of Acadia sales come from the Acadia Denali. And the Acadia isn’t the only model of Denali that is in high demand. People are clamoring for the Sierra and Yukon Denalis as well.
“Acadia Denali, much like the Denali versions of Yukon and Sierra, is attracting new customers to our dealerships,” said Brian Sweeney, U.S. vice president of Buick and GMC Sales and Service. “Forty-four percent of GMC customers come from outside of GM brands, thanks in part to Denali’s blend of Professional Grade capability and amenities.”
Acadia sales were also up in October by twenty percent over the entire year. And the Terrain sales were picking up last month as well, with Terrain sales growing forty eight persent year to date and a total raise in sales by fifty four percent. The Sierra was also up last month by retail sales up fifteen percent and total sales up by seventeen percent. And lastly the Yukon gained seven percent in combined retail sales and thirteen percent year to date.
All together these vehicles have GMC sales soaring by twenty percent and total sales twenty three percent year to date. This goes to show that these Denali vehicles are definitely in high demand and customers are grabbing up opportunities to get new Denalis!
