The Ford Expedition is amazing and practical for anyone with a large family or carries a lot of items at a time. We purchased one a few months back and after driving a van, a car and even a truck I wouldn't give it up for anything. We had test drove several Ford Explorers but nothing had room like the Ford Expedition. We ended up purchasing a 2006 model that had around 63, 000 miles on it. Even with the mileage and years our Ford Expedition looked brand new on the inside and out.

What can I not say about the Ford Expedition? This is a great vehicle for anyone that has a large family,Ford Expedition - Sport Utility Vehicle Articles boat, and trailer or hauls a lot of stuff at once. We have owned a van, truck and car and out of all the vehicles we have owned the Ford Expedition is our favorite even down to the kids. We were in the market looking for a new vehicle and test drove several Ford products but fell in love with the Ford Expedition. We purchased the 2006 model that had approximately 60, 000 miles on it.

All the standard Ford Expeditions come equipped with the latest technologies, CD player, AM/FM player, power windows, cruise control, a roof rack, tilt steering, power seats, automatic transmission and air conditioning some even come with a navigation system. The newer models start out around 35, 000 dollars and go as high as 55, 000 dollars depending on what features you would like.

It is nice to have a family of 7 who can sit comfortably in a car without being cramped up and still have room to seat friends. I love being able to take my Ford Expedition to the store or to the beach and we can pack it down and still have plenty of room to move around.

I have been very impressed with the Ford Expedition it drives smooth, handles well and even can tow a pontoon boat with no problems. Our Expedition had a tow package on it so we are able to hook our pontoon up and take it anywhere.

Even with the large size of the Ford Expedition the gas mileage has been pretty well if you drive a lot of highway miles. In my van it costs me approximately 35-40 dollars to fill up which is the same as in the Expedition. There is about a few dollar differences but overall about the same.

All of the Expeditions come with 4 doors so it is easy to get in and out; it also has running boards for the high step up which is nice. Inside the door is also a handle so you can grab a hold as you step in.

Overall I would have to rate the Ford Expedition a 9 on a scale of 1 to 10. It drives well, it has an affordable price tag and there is plenty of room that the whole family can ride and still have room. The only downfall that I have with the Ford Expedition is that with us living out in the country our drive distance is pretty far and with a bigger gas tank we have to fill up more often than I like.
