Have you ever understood the meaning of ‘Odd’ and ‘Evens’ beyond the boundaries of mathematics? Or in other words,When 1 + 2 = 3, what is so much to learn from it by the corporate Articles what mathematics has not defined or told?

Addition of two odd values will make an ‘even number’.  Addition of two even values also gives us an even number.  Similarly, summing up of one ‘even value’ with an ‘odd value’ will give odd value.  This is all about mathematics or simple arithmetic.

How a management principle can be associated with ‘odd’ value and ‘even’ value?  Is there anything for the corporate to learn from the above equitation?  In corporate ecosystem, the odd people are otherwise very uncommon, extremely wise and highly contributing innovative thinkers.   On the contrary, the ‘even’ people are ‘sustainers’ who love to be with the system with least expectation and least contribution.

When odd people join with even people, naturally the uncommon people can exert lot of influence on the common people.  As a result of such influence, the ‘even’ people also will show the capability of some uncommonness.  Corporate should identify such ‘odd’ people as the leaders so that they can make the entire team and its performance very stupendous.  The influence of ‘odd’ value in making the even value as ‘odd’ value when added is a perfect example the corporate must learn.

When two ‘even’ people join hand in hand in corporate means, nothing great can be expected as two sustainers only strive to ‘sustain’ the ‘sustainers’ energy.  That is how the addition of two even numbers or people produces only even number or result.

When two odd people join together, naturally both of them tend to loose their identity  as the clash of their ‘uniqueness’ always will result in they becoming ‘even’.

If we apply this formula in real life and view it philosophically, results will be more striking.  The odd people are otherwise very sad and frustrated and always carry negative attitude & pessimism.   The even people are otherwise well balanced and well equilibrated people who are very happy and easy go type.

When negative people meet the positive people, the positive attitude of the positive people get diluted and polluted.  As a result, the positive people become very dull and lull.  Similarly, when happy people meet happy people, naturally the happiness doubles and so is sad people meet sad people.

Corporate must learn the inner meaning of the ‘odd’ and ‘even’ and should apply the equation wisely in managing both task and people.
